Not remembering sight words?

We can help your child!

  • Early success in reading is dependent upon acquiring a bank of “high frequency words”. These words make up 75% of the English language and in efficient readers are the words that are scanned over. Eg to, and, the, what.
  • Children are thought to be “right brained” visual learners until approximately 7 years of age, so teaching whole words can be a very effective and simple way of improving reading.

Although some of these words can be “sounded out” it is more efficient to have instant and quick recognition.

We make learning sight words fun!!

Children usually gain 20-50 sight words in 14 weeks
